What is Myofascial Release?

Myofascial release is a manual therapy technique used to address the myofascial pain syndrome caused by tight or contracted muscles and fascial tissue. The fascia is a connective tissue that envelops muscles, bones, and organs. When the fascia becomes tight or restricted, it can cause pain, discomfort, and limited range of motion. Myofascial release aims to gently stretch and soften this tissue, allowing for better blood flow, improved muscle function, and relief from chronic pain. Our practice uses metal & plastic graston tools.
